Cozy and easy lighting for your balcony for the whole year
Do you live in an apartment with a balcony, but you don’t know how to make the most of it and what I mean is during most of the year, not only during the summer? Here during the summer in Denmark, everybody forgets the topic of lighting because the hours of daylight go above the 17 hours a day. In addition to having this effect called white nights in northern Europe, because the nights in summer are not 100% dark. Even in the countryside where there is no electric light nearby, or moonlight and this is because the sun doesn’t hide completely.
But for the rest of the year, tell me if it’s not cozy to sit on the balcony under a blanket to have a glass of wine or just relax while you contemplate your city?
Here you have some fun ideas of how to illuminate your balcony in a “hygge” way, without the need of extra electrical points or a complicated electrical connection.
LED light curtains
These light curtains can be placed hanging from the same balcony or also from the door frame that leads to your balcony. So, you give a romantic touch to this space in your home. You only need a cable extension depending on where you place it, and that’s it!
LED light balls
These spherical lamps are very versatile because they can be placed indoors or outdoors. In addition, they can be rechargeable or solar powered, then you forget the cables completely. Here I leave you two options: a more modern one with a change of color and a more vintage one, depending on your tastes.
Lanterns could not be missing in this list. You have the option of using candles in them or the solar recharged as these options that I bring you here. So, you just wait for them to light up at night without having to do anything.
They can be Edison style, cylindrical or any other shape; they give a warm touch to your balcony with their light effect and design. They are solar recharged and for outdoors, but if the weather is inclement is preferable to put them inside the house.
Floor lamps for outdoor
These LED floor lamps are handmade by craftsmen in the Philippines and Bangladesh. They can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Each one preserves craft techniques that make them unique pieces.
Which one did you like the most? I like the light curtains and the lamp of Bangladesh that recreates in a game of light and shadow a garden of branches and birds.
