3 types of blankets to enjoy this autumn

For a Sunday movie, a rainy afternoon or just to give a warm look to your living room, there is only one element that can completely change the image of this space, and even the feeling of comfort in it: A blanket. It may seem like an insignificant element, but it makes a huge difference!

There are several types of blankets, but in this post, I focus on 3 of them that are perfect for this season and can be adapted to different styles.

1. Thick Knitted Blanket

I'm sure you already know this type of blankets. They are soft, fluffy and very beautiful, they have been setting trends not only in home decor in general but also in children's bedrooms. If you want to give a cozy touch to your living room, this type of blanket is for you ❤

2. Alpaca wool

If you plan to visit Peru, this is a product that you cannot miss. Alpaca wool blankets are not only beautiful for their colors and designs but also their soft texture and the best: they are super warm!

3. Fur blanket

If you are one of those people who like to maintain sophistication, in addition to adding warmth to the space, this will be a #musthave for you this season. Sheepskin blankets can be obtained in synthetic versions, which will not make you part of the damage to these animals by choosing them to renew your deco.

Alpaca fur blankets are another alternative. The skin of these animals comes from natural death, especially during the harsh winters in the Andes.

For this autumn I recommend you to use cream, earth and chocolate tones!

I love the look of the Alpaca Wool blankets. But I wonder, are they soft? They’re beautiful!

They are 🙂 and they are even hypoallergenic

After reading this, I’m feeling very inspired to go find the perfect blanket for our living room couch. We’re just heading into the colder seasons, so this would definitely be the time to add one. I especially liked the alpaca wool blankets … extra warmth with the benefit of a soft feel sounds great to me!

      Yes, warm and soft 🙂

I need to get one of those thick knitted blankets! So so cute and cozy looking! I actually don’t have a fur or alpaca blanket either! Maybe I need one of each!

Cozy blankets are THE BEST. I have plans to make my own thick knitted blanket, but I haven’t made it happen yet.
