Fiorella Heraldez Madsen is a Denmark-based architect and designer living in the middle of Jutland.
She did a master’s degree at the Aarhus school of architecture, which inspired her to write a blog about Scandinavian designers, interiors, and products. This admiration for Scandinavian design made her think of Peruvian handicrafts and their outstanding cultural value.
Fiorella was born in Lima, Peru. In 2014, she traveled to Peru and took an artisan and textile route in Huancayo, Peru. And it was not until 2018 and with two small children, Freja and Thiago, that she decided to change the blog’s theme, but without changing its name. She went from writing about Scandinavian design to sharing Peru, its artisans, textiles, and handicrafts as sources of inspiration.
In 2019 she traveled with her little son Thiago to Peru to visit artisan associations and recharge themselves with that unique energy only found in Cusco.
In 2022 and finishing her third maternity leave with Tiffany, she started creating a home décor brand in collaboration with Peruvian artisans.
