My designs and projects: Taakuna
Taakuna means “seat” in quechua (Inca language) and was part of a master project of Aarhus School of Architecture. The semester theme was CHANGE, since the furniture had to be modified in form and/or utility. Taakuna is made of 2-layer cardboard, with a rotation system of the back seat, that transforms it from a table to a chair. It has also a space for magazines under the seat.
Taakuna was later exhibited in Ventura Lambrate in 2013 (Milano) as part of Aarhus School of Architecture´s exhibition. Ventura Lambrate is an event during Milan Design Week. It is part of Ventura Projects, which are curated exhibition areas that present the latest developments at the forefront of contemporary design.
