Sometimes we have a little fear of black color and is because is one of the colors (or I mean no color) with which we must be more careful when thinking about what colors to put around it. Everything will depend on the feeling we want to transmit through the decoration. In this apartment, I cannot love more the color palette that surrounds this black accent decor. The result is excellent: sophisticated, warm and welcoming.The first thing we find is an imposing black leather sofa in the living room. This sofa is surrounded by décor accessories in neutral and khaki colors, in combination with black frames and a painting in the center in dark tones. I really like that the details of the painting are not in dark tones as strong as the black leather of the sofa. In this way it complements perfectly in a soft and subtle way without taking prominence in our main focal point of this room: The sofa.
Undoubtedly, the material of the sofa is what gives a touch of sophistication that is perceived in the room. The light wooden legs of the coffee tables, the dining table and chairs add warmth to the space in combination with a white kitchen.
And we continue the journey to the bedroom. Did you notice? The painting hanging on the bed follows the same language as the living room’s painting. But this time it works as a focal point with the bed linen in a yellow color giving a fun and cheerful touch to the room. This same yellow color is used in some accessories, as well as amber and cream. These colors give sublime warmth to each room.
