Alpaca textiles ideas for your decoration

As you well know, including textures in the decorative accessories of our interior spaces is very important, since they enrich them a lot. One of the richest and most beautiful textures in design and shape is the alpaca textile. The alpaca is a high Andes camelid and Peru stands out as the first producer of its fiber in the world, the versatility of its fiber is amazing and makes it a very attractive textile in the world of decoration.

And you know what’s best? You can find them in the main decorative accessories such as blankets, rugs and cushions. Not enough with that, the alpaca textile can be found in different textures and more than 32 shades. Some are furry, others fluffy and others knitted. In this post you can find the different types of alpaca textiles that are there and how to include them in your decoration!

BLANKETS

Don´t you find it super cozy to have a small blanket at the foot of the bed or on the sofa in the living room? Including an alpaca blanket will add a touch of warmth to the space and create the feeling of being invited to sit down and get comfortable.

One of my favorites has been that alpaca woven blanket, but the stitches are thick. A blanket like this can help you create a focal point in your bedroom or living room.

CUSHIONS

Personally, I am a lover of cushions. I love combining cushions of different sizes, colors and textures, either in the living room or in a bedroom. For me the cushions are accessories that bring life to the decoration and that makes them super important.

In this photo gallery you can see how there are different types of alpaca textile cushions, how you can find them with woven or furry stitches. I recommend you combine these textured cushions thanks to the alpaca with smooth cover cushions, with full colors and patterns. This will help to keep the alpaca textile cushion as a focal point and you will greatly enrich the general vision of the decoration.

RUGS

If there’s something I love, it’s those soft, fluffy rugs. They are beautiful! And it is better if they are alpaca because that way it will not get rid of its fur and you will not end up with hairs all over the house. I have seen these beautiful rugs in different colors and sizes, in my opinion (and as you can see in the images) these rugs adapt to almost any decoration.

Depending on the accessories and colors you use around this rug, you can achieve a look with a touch of elegance, even a boho look and more relaxed. This is about alpaca rugs with fur texture, there are also woven knits. These woven knit rugs are also very versatile about color, textures and shapes … I imagine them in a hall or an entryway and even in a guest bathroom.
