The loft of Marianne in Casacor Peru 2018
CASA VIVA
The concept of Casacor Peru 2018 is CASA VIVA (Live home) and aims to achieve peaceful environments and that in the middle of the city it is possible to have a piece of nature. Recently we talked about how we can bring the outside to the interior. Here, Diego Olivero achieved it and in an extraordinary way.
One of the designs that conveys more sensations in Casacor Peru 2018
This Loft was designed by Diego Olivera and inspired by Marianne Brandt, who revolutionized Bauhaus school. Have you noticed all that naturalness and delicate femininity that this loft transmits? I love the use of rose in every room and how it combines perfectly with the greenery of nature.
From the moment you walk towards the entrance of the Loft, the first thing you see is a mural, which already uses pink and green tones, with Peruvian motifs. You keep moving forward and you come across a large format picture where you can see Evangelina Chamorro. Evangelina was a survivor of a mudslide in Peru in 2017.
So, from the beginning all this interior design project goes into a thread of sensations, through paintings, murals and colors. For me they represent a lot of femininity and a resurgence of women.
Once inside the Loft
You fall in love! The first thing that stands out is that beautiful big tree in the living room. It gives a feeling of being in a natural paradise.
This tree, without a doubt, gives a great hierarchy to that room and that contrast between the rose and the blue brings harmony and creates a beautiful accent. Following with the rose, in the kitchen there are even some accessories and pink doors. The truth is I've never been a fan of the color pink ... But how beautiful and enriching is the pink color in this kitchen! I love the way it combines with that tonality of wood and the role played by plants on the top, are the perfect combination.
A natural and intimate paradise
The bathroom next to the bedroom, despite being open spaces (all are) give a more intimate and personal sensation. Here are mixed roses with a palette of gray and brings a unique touch with old items such as suitcases and a metal lamp. The balance of colors is perfect in these environments.
You enter the bathroom and you feel freshness. I find exquisite the choice of those rustic pink bricks next to the white and bright ceramic bricks. And what perfects it even more, are the black frames in the mirrors and bathroom accessories. Without doubt in this room the choice of plants also plays a very important role in the final vision of the design.
