Metal, pink and blue palette in a Scandinavian decoration

We usually relate metal to coldness, but does the addition of metallic materials really cool the room we are decorating? The truth is that it is a cold material. However, with the precise dose in our space, it can be seen warm and fresh.
This apartment is a good example. With a pink and blue color palette as accents and neutral base colors like white and gray, a fresh and cozy atmosphere is created in each room of this apartment. In the middle of the room you can see a central element that contrasts with the rest of the accessories and materials: It is a coffee table in a black matte metal and silver surface. This table combines very well with the central rug and contrasts perfectly with the light wood of the blue chair that is located only a few centimeters from the table.
I really like the use of black metal in the legs of furniture and especially in the small desk in pine. This small room stands out thanks to these details in black metal, since, being the white walls and the bright floor, the pine wood would be lost among these colors.
Conclusion: the metal can help you frame the beauty of some material and highlight it more. (Something like an eye mascara 😀 ) While the element that brings a tender and warm touch to the room is the use of pink as accent color, as the large sofa in the room or the pink plants placed between blues and grays.
Lately I've been seeing many decorations that use pink in their color palette, as an accent or focal point and I love the versatility that this color has. I want to try it! Don´t you?
