Illustration and watercolor: Scarlet macaw (guacamayo)
Several posts ago I showed you some illustrations I did, inspired by the Peruvian and / or South American fauna, that I thought I could place in my children’s bedroom. Can you believe that until now I have not even started redecorating my daughter’s bedroom? The mural I had planned to make, remains on paper and the illustrations as well. But finally, a little more organized with my things, I took the first step, I took one of the illustrations and began painting!
I have not painted in watercolor for thousands of years π I did it time ago in Adobe Illustrator, which of course is not the same. I started perhaps with the most colorful of all, the Scarlet macaw. With those feathers of vibrant colors, it is undoubtedly well known for its intelligence and beauty. It lives in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America*, that is, you can find it from Mexico to Argentina. The Scarlet macaw, almost all of it in primary colors, some leaves to decorate, and itβs ready!

Have a super weekend!
